I asked and was told no, that it has no cash value and can not be applied towards a package.

I had no problem doing it on the Escape a few months ago. Used $100 obc and got unlimited. Just asked internet manager on first day and he did it

I also had no problem upgrading with the internet cafe manager on Dawn last month. It was on the first day of sailing however, and they stop selling the unlimited after the second day, so that could effect your success in doing same.

Yes. No problem. Just go and talk to the internet manager on embarkation day (check your Freestyle Daily for their office hours).

Just to clarify, are you saying that there is an option to upgrade when you first sign in onboard, and you don't have to stand in line at the internet cafe?

Yes, easy DIY - and you have till 10 pm on Day 2 to switch & add, difference billed to on board account.

Yes, we didn't need it. But if you do, should be applied easily just like others using it for CruiseNext. We've used OBC for cosmetics.

I upgraded the free 250 minute WiFi to the ultimate one on the Gem. Go to the internet manager and he will do it for you. I didn’t even pay full price, he gave me credit for the 250 minute one.
