Foodluvr Posted November 6, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 6, 2017 Download the Royal IQ app. That has the compass and maps and menus. We really enjoyed the suite layout on that ship. Have fun!

yuvraj Posted November 7, 2017 #5 Share Posted November 7, 2017 I found myself in a similar situation when we took our first cruise in a suite on Oasis a couple of years ago. As newbies we didn't make the most of the status so here are the lessons learnt. I appreciate that Harmony may be a little different but our experience on Oasis might still be helpful. Embarkation Day +++++++++++++ When you arrive at the terminal, look out for a special entrance for suite guests. If the terminal entrance is busy then this is the way to avoid the crowds getting into the building. The person at the door will direct you to the appropriate check-in line. We went straight to suite lounge and were a little a confused because we seemed to be blanked by the servers plus we weren't sure whether they served the complementary drinks that time of day on embarkation (11:00am). Our experience is that servers do not serve drinks (only do this in the happy hour). Drinks are available at the bar and are complementary. Bottled Water ++++++++++ Bottled water is complementary and available from the suite lounge bar. This wasn't clear to us. Coastal Kitchen ++++++++++++ Great place to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, we had a couple of people in our group who are vegetarians and the menu is limited. If you have a word with the restaurant manager then if the menu doesn't appeal or if you have special dietary requirements, they can get food served from the main dinning room. Restaurant can get busy so good to book slots in advance. You can always cancel or change them if you change your mind. Main Dinning Room +++++++++++++++ There is a special desk for suite guests so no need to reserve a table or join either line. It is a great perk and although Coastal Kitchen is great, does no harm to check out alternative venues. Shows +++++ With the exception of Comedy Club, there is no need to book your shows. Plus you will have access to the reserved seating. Disembarkation ++++++++++++ The concierges will arrange special escorted disembarkation not only on the last day but also at port stops where it is likely to be chaotic. Worth looking out for these as you can avoid the crowds and the rush to get off the ship. Concierge ++++++++ Get to know the concierges in the suite lounge. They can be really helpful in resolving problems as well as offering guidance. Next Cruise Bookings ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Useful to ask about pricing and itineraries even if you are not planning to book your next cruise. Next cruise salesperson will set up shop in the suite lounge so no need to line up at the main Next Cruise desk. Meet and Greet Event +++++++++++++++++ They will organise some kind of meet and greet event for suite guests. Great chance to meet and chat with the officers so highly recommended. After our first cruise in a suite on Oasis, we did a subsequent one on Allure and got a lot more out of the experience with lessons learnt. I have stayed in the CLS and it is amazing. Rare silentbob007 Posted November 7, 2017 #6 Share Posted November 7, 2017 If you want to eat in Coastal Kitchen for dinner, you can have the suite concierge make reservations early when the email you. We ate there every night as they have different menus and it was in lieu of young to specialties for us.

Pratique Posted November 7, 2017 #9 Share Posted November 7, 2017 Also be sure to introduce yourself to the loft attendant just before or after muster, he/she will be one of your best resources for having a great cruise.
Fisherwoman Posted November 7, 2017 #10 Share Posted November 7, 2017 We are on the Harmony of the Seas right now in a 2 bedroom Aqua Theatre Suite!!! It's a Royal Suite Class and I think your benefits may be different but I can tell you it's AMAZING!!!! We have our own Genie, Daniel and he is excellent. The internet is wonderful, no worry about how much time you are on it. Our fridge is stocked with everything we want. We have never eaten in the dining room or the buffet. It's specialty restaurants every night. Central Park 150 and Chops were amazing. We went for lunch to Izumi and the bill would have been $252.00 for four of us. It was zeroed out, no charge for us! There are five of us in this room and it's awesome!!!! The entertainment has been fantastic! Enjoy your suite experience! It's so much fun!!!!! Do you know if bottled water is complimentary? Trying to figure out if it’s worth getting bottles delivered to our cabin for our kids.

It includes almost everything; WiFi, Specialty restaurants, Ultimate Drink package. You can ask your Genie to stock your mini-bar with water, sodas, juices and beer. Our Genie asked what we wanted. We have Evian, Pellegrino, lots of pop, and Stella for beer. We ran out of beer and they brought it right up. We had champagne on ice for sail away and still have two bottles of red wine we haven't even opened and we are on day 5! Evian comes in small and large bottles. You will get everything you need or want in a Royal Family Suite. We are loving the Royal Suite Class perks!
Rare BillOh Posted November 8, 2017 #24 Share Posted November 8, 2017 Hi All! We just upgraded to a CLS and we're so excited! Any tips for first timers? Just found the thread, but enjoy the heck out of that suite. I've never had suite envy, but one lady in our 2013 roll call was upgraded from a JS to that Crown Loft and I would love that one!
