Slot pull was fun this morning, thanks to CruisinJunky for organizing the event! We cashed out with a $1 profit per buy-in [emoji4] Giveaways from the casino host were also generous and appreciated with polo shirts, t-shirts, drink vouchers, keychains, and free spin coins.

So last night was an early night for us. Had dinner in the MDR and then wandered the ship for awhile. We were wanting to stay up for the late night comedy at 1130 and decided to go to the Motown show even though we saw it last week. Made it about 15 minutes before I got really tired. I think the long days the last week coupled with lots of sun in Labadee caught up with me. Managed to sleep about 10 hours.

Went to the slot pull organized and had fun hanging out with everyone. Had 33 people participate and while we only made $1 per person it’s better than nothing. Had lunch with friends in the MDR then more relaxing and reading.

Tonight is WJ as we did not enjoy this menu last week. We’re heading to the show at 745 then will enjoy some drinks around the ship with the 70s promenade party at 11. Curaçao tomorrow, we’re in port from 9-8. Compass from today will come later. Below is a photo of a fellow Cruise Critic and Periscope member and I. We managed to both!”dress” up and got photos together.

Last night was dinner in the WJ followed by the headliner who was a ventriloquist. He was actually pretty funny and we really enjoyed the show. Afterwards encompasses many new drinks at the R Bar while also watching the 70s show. I don’t know if it’s the clientele onboard or what, but it seemed much more subdued than usual. Also, you always see way too much of Cuddy.

Today we’re pulling towards the dock in Curacao. Long day, we’re here till 8pm. My wife is going to visit the aquarium and my plan is to head next door to the Lions Dive Resort and grab a beach chair for a couple hours. Afterwards, we plan on spending the afternoon exploring both sides of downtown Willemstad. Weather is great yet again.

Going on Navigator in Jan.Could you let me know what the per day price was for deluxe alcohol package.Ive tried reading your compass's but couldn't find it.

This week I believe it was $58 + 18% onboard. I bought the deluxe + 1 device Voom package months ago for I believe $55-56 per day so saved a bit buying early.

Tonight’s main and dessert menus in the MDR:

Tomorrow night’s menu is Tarragon.

Also...did I miss something or am I just remembering incorrectly? I thought there was a running joke about the pepper grinders being taken away in the MDR. Did I miss a report of them having made a comeback?

I was able to request freshly ground pepper tonight. It was great in both bowls of mushroom soup I had. I like mushrooms because I’m such a fun guy. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist) [emoji16]

A couple of questions as I don’t see prices listed on compass:

1. Is the surf only available and is that $12.99 a day? The surf and stream is listed on our cruise planner as $14.39 per day. We don’t stream so am willing to go with surf only.

2. Any idea how much the all access tour is? It’s listed on cruise planner for our upcoming cruise as $89 pp.

Thank you!

1. I believe stream is being sold for $17.99 per day onboard so better to buy early. Stream is honestly not great but I imagine surf is a fair bit worse. Early/late times are usually best for it on here as Navigator hasn’t gotten the “good” Voom.

2. Not sure about the all access but I’ll see if I can find out the onboard price. I wouldn’t expect it to be cheaper onboard though.

Confirming that Surf is $12.99/day and Surf & Stream is $17.99/day. But the service has definitely been slow and unreliable at times.

The All-Access Tour is $89/person and on this sailing it’s scheduled for Day 8 at 10:00, approximately 2 hours in duration. It will always be on a sea day and I suspect they’ll stick to it being late in the cruise. I did the tour on Oasis when it took about 3.5 hours. Not sure how they’ve shortened it or if they’ve omitted any parts of the longer version.

Thank you. Right now, it is scheduled for the first sea day with 3 different times. Enjoy your cruise!

I will give a little more detail later, and also photos once I get home and upload off the GoPro, but what a day in Bonaire! Woodwind is an amazing outlet. Worth every penny and then some for 4 fantastic hours of snorkeling. Saw some of the most beautiful sea life too include a small sea turtle. If you’re coming here, book early and book now as they seem out quickly.

Very nice review! We are going on the 5 day dec 31 cruise and definitely want to see the ice show. How were you notified to pick up show tickets?

It was announced by the cruise director during the announcements portion of the evening shows of Day 1 in the Metropolis Theatre. You can also see it in the Cruise Compass on Day 2 at 09:00 (which you should receive in your stateroom during the Day 1 evening turndown service); you pick up the complimentary tickets for the desired showtime.

For us the ticket pickup was outside Studio B, also indicated in the Compass. The ticket pickup line can become long...you may want to line up early (e.g. 08:30-08:45) to ensure you get your first choice.

Snacks, water, soda, rum punch, beer, liquor. That’s all during. On the ride back they serve a “light” lunch of a chicken noodle dish. It’s actually a full plate for each person and quite good.

They have fins, masks (to include

Multiple prescription ones), snorkels, foam noodles, and other flotation devices. Everything is in like new condition and they clean everything constantly. This was well and truly one of the best excursions we’ve ever done.

Tomorrow night’s menu is Chives.

Today, my family had a golf cart rental (arranged in advance) with Bonaire Cruisers. It was fantastic. We completed the southern loop and also visited the Seru Largu lookout point to the north.

In the southern loop, we visited the Donkey Sanctuary. The donkeys are so gentle and friendly. But be prepared for some excitement if you have carrots while driving a golf cart through the sanctuary [emoji6]

There are incredible sights of the ocean crashing onto the rocks and also entering the inlets to the salt ponds. I could write at some length about all the things we did and saw. However, I will just add that Gio’s Gelato was also a big hit after being out in the sun all day.

The Top Tier event tonight was amazing - held in Studio B, we were treated to an exclusive ice dance show not available to everyone else, called Iconic. The ice dance cast never disappoints. One Pinnacle member reached the 1,400-point “double Pinnacle” milestone, receiving special recognition and another C&A member made it to Pinnacle on this cruise - congratulations to them!

I found Chad Chesmark, the magician/comedian tonight to be a great entertainer. YMMV, though.

Aruba tomorrow and my family has another busy day planned with a car rental.
