If it comes from the cruise line it must be spent. If it comes from the travel agent it is refundable. Some OBC appears to come from the agent but actually come from Celebrity so be sure to ask your travel agent for clarification.

If you do have both OBN (Non-refundable, usually from the cruise line) and OBR (refundable, usually from your TA), the system will automatically use the OBR first against any of your charges. Therefore if you do not spend the total you should get the remainder back to your credit card.

I would check with Guest Services onboard - they will be able to confirm how much OBN vs OBR you have.

Just check your account on the TV in your stateroom. OBC is generally listed by the second day. Each entry will be listed with OBN or OBR somewhere in the code.
