High Prices for 2019

Has anyone else noticed that the prices are very high starting in Spring/Summer 2019 for Seaside? They are almost double for the same itinerary in Fall 2018.

Some are more than double....:o

 

I also noticed that the Grand Suite Aurea is more than the Deluxe Suite Yacht Club.

 

I'm going to wait to see if this is an aberration or if this is the norm from here on out.

Glad I'm not the only one seeing the increases. If these are the new prices, then I guess I will be looking elsewhere. Maybe the promotional pricing hasn't been added that far out yet?

I pretty much rotate cruise lines each year. They are all going through the roof with their pricing. This is why I book two years ahead for all my cruises. None of them in the last few years have ever gone down in price from when I booked. I've had my 15 day Panama Canal cruise on the NCL Bliss for 2019 booked for some time already. It has already gone up several hundred dollars already.

That has to be a mistake , they more than doubled from last night , but when you look at the prices per category $584 for an i2 comes out to over $ 2200 so it has to be another web site error.

I suspect the low 2018 prices were a "loss leader" of sorts to fill the ship. Assuming the early voyages are a success there's no reason to continue discounting like they were.

Same cruise, same cabin, same experience type in spring break 2019 is about $800 more (25% higher) that what we paid for spring break 2018 when I price check for next year.

There's still an increase but it's an understandable increase.

Fall is always going to be cheaper than spring or summer to begin with, so that factors in as well. The prices do come back down as you get to the end of the schedule (October/November 2019).

Looks like they may have resolved it. Prices are now much more inline with the current rates. Still an increase, but that is expected.

You should be able to book Summer 2019 now, as they extended out the months a few days ago.

I just looked at my booking for February 23, 2019 in YC1 (which one is still available) and my price is the same, when I use my Black discount. I booked in June 2017 for my February 2019 sailing.

 

For my February 24, 2018 YC1 Sailing for Seaside, although I cannot check prices since there are no longer any YC1, I booked September 2017 for February 2018 and my invoice is $200 higher than what I paid for 2019.

On their website, sometimes you have to be careful. On the same dates, they will give back to back prices. The 7 day price is there, but you may have to search for it.

Darn. The cruise I wanted to book for July 2019 is a 14-day cruise. No can do. We’ll have to change plans for our 50th. Very disappointed, but we had other tentative plans before we had our wonderful cruise on the Divina in Oct.

For July 2019 onward on US site they are only showing the 14 night options.

I would suggest calling, or wait till July, 2019 opens up for all the cruises.
