wadainker Posted December 10, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2017 We are just four days until our cruise and haven’t got our cabin assignment? Worried I won’t get level requested! We are elite though. But curious if I should be worried? Always had assignment by now?
neverbeenhere Posted December 10, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2017 no reason to worry. The stateroom assignment may happen at the pier.

We are elite though. But curious if I should be worried? Always had assignment by now? Being Elite has nothing to do with cabin assignments. Guarantee cabin assignments can happen at any point between booking and arriving at port. If you don't have it yet, no worries. Just keep checking your cruise personalizer, and if you don't have it by departure for the port, the porters will have a list if the assigned cabins.. You'll have at least the category you booked - that's the "guarantee" of a guarantee cabin booking..
CruiserBruce Posted December 10, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 10, 2017 You'll have at least the category you booked - that's the "guarantee" of a guarantee cabin booking.. Absolutely correct. You hopefully understood that, and the possible assignment up to dockside when you committed to a GTY booking, right?
paul929207 Posted December 10, 2017 #5 Share Posted December 10, 2017 If necessary, Princess will make an offer to some passengers for them to give up their cabin for compensation.
easyboy Posted December 10, 2017 #6 Share Posted December 10, 2017 You can also have your luggage tag at the terminal should you prefer.
Poulsbo Cruisers Posted December 10, 2017 #7 Share Posted December 10, 2017 We were three days out from our recent September cruise and two hours from leaving for the airport when we finally received our cabin assignment. We had already printed our luggage tags and boarding passes without the cabin number. All of a sudden the cabin showed up. It was well worth the wait and anxiety as we were upgraded from a mini suite to a full suite.
