Yes that is nuts. $19pp american is way too much for my frugal self. I get them in Mexico at Nachi Cocum for $7pp.

 

Royal I just want to use it for a couple hours, not buy it.:D

We used to bring inflatable mat and leave with kids on shore but now DW takes inflatable noodle. Easy to blow up and deflate after use, light and no space in luggage. Four or five styles on Amazon, under $7US and will last several trips.

We bring cheap inflatables and leave them as well. We also have brought the small parpasan springways lounger which packs up really small.

No rules against them, but there's not a whole lot of room in the pools at times.

The pools are so small and packed, you will spend most of your time standing at the edge, trying to keep out of everyone's way! You can take your noodle to Labadee, if you wish. The water is pretty calm.

I second the Doodles! We take them on every cruise. Amazon. $12 or so. Easy to inflate/deflate and pack.

Pools on the ships are not "packed".

 

Many times there is hardly anyone in them.

 

We bring a football to throw around and never have any issues..
