Dumb question: Drink package use in specialty dining = Yes or No?

If we have a drink package can we use it in specialty dining?

IN the specialty restaurants the waiters will try an upsell the drinks on offer to you. Principally because they get commission on the upsell. When you first sit down advise them what drinks package you are on and that issue goes away immediately and you will be offered drinks within your package

and if no wines on the lists in those restaurants are within your package limit, ask for one that is! We love Murano, but are perfectly happy with wines in the Classic package.

and if a wine that is included in your package is not listed in the speciality restaurant (e.g. Mer Soleil only offered in Murano if I remember correctly) Qsine and Tuscan will get it for you.

I have never experienced any upsells in any specialty we've visited on any ship. We've never had to advise them of our package either. Maybe luck of the draw on that!

We have never had a wine up sell attempt in a speciality restaurant on X either.

That's been our experience also. We have never been approached with upgrading or had to advise any bar staff or waiter of the type of BP we have either. Clearly printed on the Seapass card.
