Questions about LCV Upgrades

I understand that when you get an LCV Upgrade you do NOT get the increased LCV points for that category. My question is: do you get all the other amenities that come with your new category? Specifically, we just upgraded from a CC suite to a CW suite, which the website indicates comes with $300 OBC. Do we get that? [it makes a difference in planning Unlimited Internet upgrades and Chef's Table reservations, so I'd like to know before boarding.]

The CW OBC is relatively new and replaced the included excursion I think. I know you got that if you LCV upgraded, but I'm not sure if that OBC will filter through our how they do it. I think it's best to email LCV and ask or maybe Bonnie can run with it on your behalf?

The points you will received will be for the original category booked which would be for Club Continent Suite. Please let us know if you have further questions.

There is no additional OBC for a Club Continent suite. There is for an Owner's or Ocean suite, in place of the former free excursion..

Does anyone know how who gets an upgrade is determined in LCV land?

Supposedly by both date of application and LCV level/points. I think it’s level/points first, then by date of application to decide between people at the same level/points.
