2LoveBikes Posted December 29, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 29, 2017 We are departing on the 👑 Crown Princess on January 12, 2018. First check-in time starts at 12:30 pm and later according to deck number. Is Princess strict about this check-in time process or are they flexible? If you are in a mini suite will they waive the check-in restriction? This is my first cruise on Princess Cruises. Holland America does not have staggered boarding and all staterooms seem to be ready at 12 noon or earlier.
Elkhorn20fan Posted December 29, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 29, 2017 Everyone show up before 12, just get in line. We will also be with you on the cruise, hope to meet up with you.:D:D:D
DrivesLikeMario Posted December 29, 2017 #3 Share Posted December 29, 2017 Mini-suites don't get preferential boarding. Show up any time between 10:30 and 90 mins. before sailing. If you don't mind waiting, get there early. Boarding usually starts around noon. If you like little to no lines, go later like around 2:00ish. easyboy Posted December 29, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 29, 2017 You can check in earlier than the specified time. Staterooms are also usually available upon boarding. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Lucky TGO Posted December 29, 2017 #5 Share Posted December 29, 2017 It’s just a suggested time. Tony
Rare geoherb Posted December 29, 2017 #6 Share Posted December 29, 2017 If you don't mind waiting, show up before noon--realizing that a lot of the folks who show up later than you may have preferred boarding and get on board before you do. We got to the pier at 11:15 and made it on board at 11:45 earlier this month on the Royal--but we had preferred boarding for being Elite. There were plenty of people sitting in chairs waiting when we got there who were still sitting in chairs as we boarded.
paul929207 Posted December 29, 2017 #7 Share Posted December 29, 2017 The check in times are suggestions, not requirements. Note that passengers booked in MiniSuites do NOT have priority boarding.
