What have you not done yet, but want to do?

MAGGIE, We've done tours of the galley on several ships and must say, it's definitely a winner on anyone's to do list. While on a Carib. cruise on the Oosterdam last year, it was offered on a sea day and listed on the daily schedule. The kitchen staff put on demonstrations (melon carving, pastry specialities, etc) and had set up a beautiful display for each food station. On your next HAL cruise, just tell your dining room captain of your interest in a galley tour, and more than likely he'll work it out for you.

We, too, would love to do a tour of the bridge.

Let's see--- I've done the bridge tour, galley tour, had dinner seated next to the best looking Master in the fleet (Nico Corbijn), been Ms. ....dam a couple times. Dam, I guess I've had fun!

I'd like to win the jackpot at bingo but that would actually involve playing Bingo so I guess that's out. I'd like to hit a big jackpot on the slots in the Casino (it could happen).

But what I'd really like to do is get a free upgrade to the Penthouse; maybe when we do Auckland to Sydney would be nice. :)

I did like the one about staying up past 10 p.m.

We toured the bridge on a Celebrity ship in 2000. It was an interesting, behind-the-scenes tour with a lot more technical info than I can remember.

I'd like to have the Royal Suite--or whatever it's called. I'd also like to have dinner served on our balcony. Princess has a balcony dinner that costs extra but sounds wonderful.

Well, I toured the bridge and the galley on the Diamond Princess last August... (well worth it and both are VERY impressive).

But one thing I would like to do is walk away a winner at the casino on board! ... I do well at local casinos, but not yet while at sea. (blackjack, so the odds/rules are very much the same).

RuthC, don't assume it can't happen. I never thought I'd marry again and I had 19 wonderful years with my beloved DH before he died last July.

Krazy Kruisers: You really need to put a hot stone full body massage on your "must do" list for your next cruise. Absolutely wonderful! Especially so if you are lucky enough to have Josephine from the Volendam spa staff. Wonderfully skillful and never said a word while she did the massage. A very nice, pleasant person.

My dream is a World Cruise. Would be nice if I could be in a suite instead of steerage. Well, a girl can dream can't she?

We got married on the Zuiderdam in Sept 2003, so we would love to do a renewal of vows on the road in a few years.

We sailed on the Zuiderdam again this September for our 2nd anniversary (B2B) and they had a tour of the galley each week, the first week I did not take my camera, so I made sure I did the second week. Each station had either a demo (fruit/veggie carvings) or samples.

We have done the tour of the bridge - several times - last one was in October 2001.

We have done the galley tours several times - and nibbled all along the way - just check the daily program to see when it is offered - usually first sea day.

10 PM - used to. But now if we want to see the fireworks as we leave Curacao, we set the alram since it is usually at 11 PM.

Have dined with the cpatain, first officer, hotel manager - not all at the same time - different ships.

Being a retired marine engineer, I would like to be able to tour the engine rooms (but 911 took care of that). Other than that: convince my wife to spring for a superior suite, get past the first round in the blackjack tournament, go on an Alaskian and a Med cruise.

karaoke; engine room tour; win cruise bingo/drawing; win snowball bingo; be upgraded to a Penthouse Suite, not necessarily on in that order or all on the same cruise, but I wouldn't complain if they all happened on the same cruise, either! :)

Strange ... I took it as more which cruises would you like to do yet that you've not done. At least, that's how I'm going to answer it:

1. Circle the Pacific Cruise

2. Cruise to ports in Asia (as in the Statendam's new Itinerary)

3. South American Cruise from Valparasio to BA (or visa versa)

4. Eastern and Western Med cruises ... b2b if possible

5. Baltic Cruise

6. Norway Fjords Cruise

7. The World Cruise
