TeeRick Posted January 14, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2018 This is an impossible question to answer. Why not ask a more specific set of questions and tell us more about the ship and itinerary you selected.
Rare cruisestitch Posted January 14, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2018 Cruise Critic has hundreds and hundreds of reviews of ships and itineraries. You could start there.

(The last cruise we went with was cunard and could not fault them )d It really depends on what floats your boat, never sailed Cunard but love Celebrity, a bit more info regarding your likes dislikes will help, also are you from the UK? champagne123 Posted January 14, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2018 Why do people ask a question and log out?
Fouremco Posted January 14, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 14, 2018 Why do people ask a question and log out? It sometimes take several hours before you start getting even a few replies, and rather than sit there watching them trickle in, you can come back later and deal with them at one time. Remember too, just because someone is shown as being logged in doesn't mean they are actually sitting there at the computer. I'm going to go and have lunch as soon as I hit the Submit Reply button, but I won't be logging out. Even though my little light will be on, don't expect a quick answer if you have a follow up question. :halo:

I know you can log out and still watch for responses....have been a member for years. Just wondering why people do this. People want to help, but ask for "clarification" questions....(hardly ever answered).
G.M.T. Posted January 14, 2018 #8 Share Posted January 14, 2018 The OP read the "Pitiful" thread - then jumped ship.

I know you can log out and still watch for responses....have been a member for years. Just wondering why people do this. People want to help, but ask for "clarification" questions....(hardly ever answered). Almost three hours later and still only a grand total of 3 replies to the OP. Waiting for replies to come in can be like watching paint dry.

(The last cruise we went with was cunard and could not fault them ) With what other lines have you cruised, and what did you like/dislike about them? Pros and cons can be pretty subjective, so having a better idea of your tastes would be helpful. Also, what destination(s) did you have in mind, as that can influence the replies you'll get? Rare Host Jazzbeau Posted January 14, 2018 #11 Share Posted January 14, 2018 Based on what we already know, here are a few things to know: • Celebrity is much less formal than Cunard -- if you enjoy seeing everybody dressed to the nines, it won't happen • Celebrity casinos are smoke-free -- this is a big plus for many of us, but a deal-breaker for some • Celebrity has less of a class system than Cunard -- there are two special dining rooms for AquaClass and Suite passengers and Michael's is only for Suites but otherwise everybody has the run of the ship • Celebrity and Azamara have a joint loyalty program, so points from Azamara help you get to Elite on Celebrity [loyalty status is less valuable on Azamara because it is more inclusive for everyone]
twodjs Posted January 14, 2018 #12 Share Posted January 14, 2018 Why do people ask a question and log out? Wow! Do people actually sit all day and just stare at CruiseCritic? Many participants actually have jobs. :D
