travelingla Posted January 29, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2018 I could not find ths on these boards or in NCL’s FAQ Are we allowed to take pool towels off ship to beach & on excursions? I realize if lost and not returned we would be charged. How are towels given out on the Pearl? Are they in the cabins? Or, use room card at poolside ? Thank you!! cb at sea Posted January 29, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 29, 2018 All cruise lines provide pool/beach towels!
sverigecruiser Posted January 29, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 29, 2018 They will not count the towels if you are in the Haven. (I assume that it's like on the never ships, towels available in the Haven.)
Barb Nahoumi Posted January 29, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 29, 2018 Yes, you can take them off of the ship, but you must bring them back or be charged for them.
LrgPizza Posted January 29, 2018 #7 Share Posted January 29, 2018 They usually have a towel exchange set up on the pier as you prepare to reboard the ship. You can exchange for clean towels before you even get back on board.

It's been years since I've been on NCL cruise. Does NCL "check out" towels at the pool? I know with Princess, they have a cart with fresh towels for your taking. Carnival swiped your card every time you take a towel. RCCL gave us "towel cards" for the pool.

Towels are provided in your room You are expected to take the towels from your room on excursions (that involve water) You can exchange spiked towels for clean towels by (1) dropping them on your bathroom floor and having your room steward change them, (2) using the towel exchange on the pool deck, (3) using the towel exchange at the gangway at beach ports. OCruisers Posted January 29, 2018 #12 Share Posted January 29, 2018 Happily, you don't have to deal with the aggravation of taking them from home and dealing with them when they're dirty! You get clean towels as needed. :D:D
