Restaurants near Embassy on 17th Please

I tried searching this but the latest were from Feb. 2017. Any suggestions for good, casual restaurants within walking distance from Embassy? Thank fellow CC's!

Just to name 2, Duffy's sports bar and Outback Steakhouse are both within walking distance.

+1 for Duffy’s, especially if you want to watch sports. Outback is good too.

 

If you cross 17th street and walk a couple blocks north on Cordova there is a Quarterdeck, Southport Raw Bar and Kelly’s Landing. All local favorites. Enjoy your trip.

Lots of great restaurants all over that area. Just Google it and see what looks good to you. There is too many that "casual" isn't going to get you a good answer, since that defines about 30 restaurants there.

Southport Raw Bar is on the water and super casual. Kelly's Landing right next door to Southport has awesome new England sea food, a d 15th Street Fisheries is on the water and more of an upscale spot. If you don't mind a short Uber, you can also head to Rustic Inn which is probably the most famous seafood restaurant in the area and famous for crabs. If going before May and you want local stone crabs, a 20 min ride to Billy's Stone Crab in Hollywood is worth the journey.

Kelly’s Landing, seafood restaurant across 17th Street from Embassy Suites and back a block. Easy walk from the hotel. Eat there every time we are in Fort Lauderdale.

Another vote for Kelly's from a real New England woman. It is small, but food is great. Just walk out the front door or side door turn to cross the street to TD Bank, cross the street again and turn left. The strip mall is on your right. Kelly's is at the end of the plaza about 5 small store fronts down.

Gilbert's behind the ES is a nice, casual, family-owned restaurant. Good burgers, sweet potato fries, and homemade soups.
