Welcome to CC. Are you dining Traditional Dining or Select Dining? For Traditional Dining you can Email Celebrity with your request at celebritydining@celebrity.com approximately 2 to 3 weeks prior to your sailing date. For Select Dining you will need to wait until you are onboard the ship. As soon as you are onboard go to the MDR for SD (different level in the MDR) and request the table size with the Maître D. If you have TD I suggest you still go to the MDR when you first are onboard and check out your assigned table size and location.
Krazy Kruizers Posted February 17, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2018 Welcome to Cruise Critic. 8 of you most times -- no problem getting a table for the entire cruise. But if you want a table just for the 2 of you for a couple of nights -- might be hard to do. Have you considered booking a specialty restaurant when you want to be alone? Rare Hlitner Posted February 17, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 17, 2018 You can certainly have a private word with the MDR's Maitre'd...who should be able to handle your request. However, for a special occasion you might want to consider making a reservation at one the alternative restaurants. Specifically, we think that Murano is a terrific venue for a special romantic dinner. But on that ship you also have Qsine, Tuscan Grill, and the Lawn...all of which have their good points. You indicated that you are booked in a Sky Suite. Are you aware that your suite qualifies you to dine every night if you wish in the suite-only VIP Luminae restaurant that is very much like a specialty restaurant?
