islanders07 Posted March 25, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 25, 2018 Disembarked Celebrity Reflection on 23 March at PortEverglades. Massive confusion and delays because Cdn citizens had to completeI-94 Arrival/Departure Record form in the terminal despite the form stating Canadian citizens are exempt. Any other cruises have to do this? Something new or just a one off?

Any other cruises have to do this? Something new or just a one off? Just got off the Equinox yesterday in Miami & we never had to do that at all. Must have been one off. cruisefan123 Posted March 26, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 26, 2018 Must have been a one off. In February we disembarked from Reflection and didn't have to fill one out. However if you had a Nexus card you could not use the separate Nexus line unless you were a US citizen. Sent from my iPad using Forums

Sent from my iPad using Forums We used the Nexus/Global Entry line in Pt Everglades 3/23....but DID have to fill in the form in the terminal as the X guest services desk did not provide to the room...a slip up apparently. TheCount Posted March 26, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 26, 2018 Well, we were just off the Silhouette yesterday, and used the Luggage Vallet Program, our bags left the ship and off the airport (we uses a US boarder city for some flights). We were "flagged" on disembark and taken to the front of the line at Port Everglade for customs. Completed the form, had both passport and our nexus cards, taken to a separate room. The agent came back and forth twice, returning our passports and cards, and said "have a great day". NO idea what was up, other than a blue US immigration form being completed. islanders07 Posted March 30, 2018 Author #7 Share Posted March 30, 2018 Thanks for the replies folks. Hopefully it's a just a glitch and not the start of something. Fingers crossed.
bEwAbG Posted March 30, 2018 #8 Share Posted March 30, 2018 The ship now provides this info to CBP in advance, so I'm guessing that there was a glitch of some sort for this particular sailing.
Rare broberts Posted March 30, 2018 #9 Share Posted March 30, 2018 Spot checks are done. Likely just luck of the draw.
