Princess Cays non ship excursions

Has anyone done a non-ship excursion on Princess Cays? If so, who did you go through?

Princess Cay is a private island. The are no non ship excursions.

When I go in July I’m just using it as a beach day. I’m not paying for any excursions on that stop.

The private beach day is included in your fare. No excursions are needed...but if you must spend more money, it must be through the cruise line.

Correct, it is part of Eleuthera, a good-sized island (it's long, but quite narrow). There are other resorts and facilities along the length of Eleuthera, so it IS possible to arrange tours outside of the cruise line. From a recent TripAdvisor review,

 

"We, however, took a cab ride out to see the sites. We didn't buy an excursion. We spent $120 for 4 people on a cab ride and several hours away seeing the island. It was well worth it."
