Royal Princess Mini Suite

First time cruising on Royal, and in a suite. Pictures and comments will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You !!!

Are you in a suite, as you're title suggests, or in a mini-suite, as your comment suggests? Very big difference!!

There's hundreds of photos and videos online of both.. Personally, we're not big on Mini-suites, don't find them really worth the extra $$ to us, however full suites are excellent, when we can swing one. Love the extra separate living space, much larger bathroom, and the suite perks (do not apply to mini-suites)..

Mini Suite? Unless you are in a Club Class mini suite you really don't get too much extra, except space. The cabin has a sofa, two TV's, walk in closet, bathroom with tub/shower. Club Class is the same cabin but you receive Club Class benefits such as Club Class Dining.

A suite or full suite as you mention in your text is different.

OP - I think your title suggests you are in a mini-suite but your question mentions a suite....

For a list of full suite perks, see https://www.princess.com/learn/ships/staterooms/suites/.

Our first cruise on the Royal Princess in 2013 was an owner's suite on Dolphin deck aft that we didn't like at all due to the layout making us question the value. It was much smaller than even vista and penthouse suites on other Princess ships and we were bothered greatly - to the point of not being able to use our expansive balcony - by soot on the balcony (I haven't seen as many complaints recently so maybe that has been solved). Since that 7 day cruise we have taken 20 day and 25 day cruises on the Royal Princess in mini-suites. We love the bedroom/sitting room layout and the expanded bathroom. The price was much, much cheaper than the full suites and being elite now the only suite perk we really missed was breakfast in Sabatini's.

What is so special about Sabatini’s breakfast?

Also what is a suite high tea and how does is differ from the dining room high tea?

We accepted an upsell so first time in a suite. Looking forward to it with only 25 days to go.

The Specialty Restaurant breakfast is lovely because it's in a quieter, more intimate atmosphere , and the menu is more extensive that dining room our buffet, along with food being cooked right to order fresh.. Also, they'll do any special order you want, as long as they have the ingredients - chocolate chip pancakes or waffles, eggs benedict with smoked salmon instead of ham or whatever.

Suite afternoon tea is similar items to dining room tea - just served en suite. Multiple different pastries, scones, small sandwiches, selection of teas. Same tea as what's available to Elites in cabin...

Have been on the Princess twice and never knew you could have breakfast at Sabatinis. Do you have to reserve for this?

It is one of the perks available to those in full suites only. On the first morning just show up. They have a full list of full suite passengers. They'll check you off and by the next morning will greet you by name. There are plenty of tables available for a relatively small number of cruisers. We have never seen more than 6 or so tables occupied at any time we've been in full suites.

Thanks for the info. Have only been on their mini suites for the two cruises we took with Princess. I think this is the equivalent of full suite passengers benefit in NCL with their Moderno or Cagney breakfast. That one is always full -- because they extend it to some of their Platinum guests on request.
