pyes they have those drinks it is exclusive to only the drinks on the menu but the wine was good and if you like the speciality drinks advertised its good. found to be skimpy on the alcohol though.  some are pre mixed.

Skimpy on the alcohol sounds ideal for this learner drinker. LOL. Going on the Carnival Splendour for a 4 night round trip Sydney-Moreton Island-Sydney in a Spa Obstructed Oceanview in November 2020. Have seen photos of the tenders, won't safely manage the stairs on walking sticks-usually use a Rollator-so will have a peaceful time aboard and in the Thalosotherapy pool! Am guesstimating AUD$16 an alcoholic drink, which is the price on an opposition line, but useful for me as a budget guesstimate!

lol you'll love it . They are fruiti. And if i liked jack daniels i would get the high seas tea. It is a super deal for a house wine. They use the same house house wine that they use in all the bars. I like the wine wine. Make sure you go at advertised time to casino bar.

I sure will.Hoping to get to the Overseas Passenger Terminal early for boarding, can't select my time yet about 20 months before sailing. Needing a Handicapped Accessible stateroom means planning WELL AHEAD, and then dealing with the airlines-2 different companies to get from my hometown to Sydney and home again.  Oh well, gives me plenty of time to research so any small problems should be controlled-bar the weather! LOL!

We sail on the Vista in less than 2 weeks and I was thinking of stepping-up my alcohol comsumption..... but this clinches it! I will have to stroll around and check out the random bars and troll them for specials......

Please let us know how you make out.

Happy sails!

Didn't know this was a thing! Assuming, though, that this does not apply to folks with the Cheers package? Anybody have confirmation on that?

It's a promotion selling reduced priced drinks that are probably already made in pitchers and then poured similar to what is done at the rum bar and tequila bar poolside with certain drinks.  You can of course use these towards your Cheers allotment, but why would you?  Get a nice fresh drink or three at the Alchemy Bar.

Touche. I was just wondering if they went towards it - we're still on the fence about Cheers (don't worry we've done all the math and read all the posts lol. Just deciding what's best for us personally). This may change that. Thank you!

You're welcome.  Which way are you leaning regarding Cheers?  We've paid for it on our last three Carnival cruises and once on Royal.  Also eight times in included packages on Celebrity, NCL and MSC.

Leaning towards yes. My bf and I are drinkers generally speaking (and would take advantage of the water/milkshakes/coffee, etc.), and we're far enough in advance that we could pay this off. I also have a Carnival MC and would get the points back.

I think our only concern would be not being able to get doubles, buckets, etc. but that's more of an inconvenience than anything. We do like the "all inclusive" feel and will have everything else already paid for before we cruise too.

Just remember to pace yourself and stop by the Alchemy Bar for pre-dinner drinks each evening.

I mention pacing because sometimes guys right out of college will be pounding the beers and occasional shots and will have hit their 15 by dinner.

If you like tequila, try the Roca Patron at the tequila bar and also Grey Goose VX at the Alchemy or Atrium Bars.

I want to mention that I believe the menu that is shown on this thread is only on embarkation day from 12-3, as it says Welcome Aboard.

This thread was started almost a year ago, so I hope somebody can correct me if it’s a daily thing in the casino.
