We are sailing from Miami on the Equinox in a few weeks, & want to book an East coast cruise while onboard. Does anybody know what the current "offers" are? & does it make any difference that we are from the U.K, as we have different offers to the U.S......Or am I overthinking this? Many thanks.

Last month Celebrity removed the £900 discount for UK bookings so that meant a significant price hike, that applies whether you book here in the UK or onboard. The current offer for Oceanview/Balcony is choice of 2 perks (Beverage Pkg + $300 obc is the most common choice). In addition they give you the choice of instant obc on current cruise or on your future cruise equal to the deposit paid. We Brits get a little extra as the deposit is calculated at 1.69$ = 1GBP.

Still worth booking on board as you gain £30 (Balcony cabin/14nts.cruise) more than an ATM, and the deposit becomes free. You still retain the option to change the cruise sailing and date as many times as you like without incurring a fee.

I think you can transfer a future cruise booking to a TA for more ‘perks’ within, I believe, 60 days?

Does that include transferring to the big ‘members only’ box store TA’s? Does anyone have any experience doing this? Thanks.

Yes. Use this link: https://www.celebritycruises.com/company/customer-support/help-and-faqs/pre-cruise/reservation-transfers

They will automatically set it up to transfer to the agency who had the reservation for the cruise you are currently on unless you tell them you do not want to do that.

Your booking will automatically go to the TA that you used to book the cruise you are on, if you used one. If you wish to keep the reservation in your name only so you can transfer it to a different TA, you will have to tell them at the time you book on board and sign a statement that you do not want this new booking to go to your current TA.

We just returned from a B2B cruise on the Equinox (24 March and 31 March). Within an hour of being onboard we booked the 14 Night Canada/New England Coastal cruise (8 September 2019). The price was the same as online. Choose two perks (gratuities and BP). We got the usual OBC for booking onboard. I also received a Veterans discount and the normal Elite one category upgrade. Also a bottle of wine and a few other gifts for booking the first day of the cruise. This time I didn't have the booking transferred to the TA we used last. I've got 60 days from the date of the booking to decide if I want to transfer the booking. All depends on what additional perks the TA wants to add to the booking.

The Offers are not the same.

For instance on the flyer provided in the link above, the 'Early Booking Offer' is available only to residents of the US. See the small print at the bottom of the flyer. Previously I have seen two of the advertised offers only available to residents of the US according to the very small print..

Also be aware that transferring the booking to a travel agent was only possible in UK within 48 hours. This may have changed recently as I cannot find the details now, but this is what used to be on the UK website when I tried to do it. I had not booked on board though, so check this out if you intend to do that.

"Can I transfer my reservation to a travel agent if I purchased my cruise directly from Celebrity Cruises?

If you have made a booking directly with one of our personal cruise specialists you may transfer your reservation within 48 hours of paying the deposit, any booking paid in full cannot be transferred. Please read the Terms and Conditions on this form before completing Travel Agent Transfer Form PDF and send it back to us by one of the options outlined on the form."

If you purchase onboard you can transfer from Celebrity UK to any UK Travel Agent of your choice and the time limit is 60 days like the US. Celebrity will even do the transfer for you, contact Future Cruises Dept on their freephone number 0800-018-2525.
