Has anyone ever asked for the pool music turned down?

Not true.... We just returned from an 8 day cruise on the Elation. There was a "one man steel drum band" on the Lido deck several times. Not loud at all, and much more "appropriate" for a cruise.:cool:

 

Same on the Ecstasy last year. Most days was "Sounds of the Caribbean with ODANE" on the Lido and the volume was fine. Now, the one night he was playing on the Promenade outside the Casino bar, that was a different story.

The real question is, how much does one have to pay to plug their phone in to the AUX cable to the pool music?

My son’s been trying to get me to listen to Kendrick Lamar for the past 6 months! I hesitated because I’m more into old school hip hop. He is absolutely thrilled that one of his favorite artists won the pulitzer! I have plans to listen to the album on my way to work this week!

 

Regarding loud music, one of my assistants just received a quote for hearing aids. The price is ridiculous!!! I’m glad I began wearing ear plugs at concerts back in my 20’s. Husband and I plan to wear ear plugs on the lido.

Yep,,,you might as well be "blowin' in the wind", as they have NEVER turned the music down, as far as I know. I'm taking ear plugs on my next cruise as well. That's the only way I know of to get a slightly less obtrusive level of music aboard ships.
