Please be careful selling things onboard. I had a friend who's daughter while on board tried selling magazine subscriptions for her school and they warned her no passenger is allowed to sell anything is against ship policy. Just don't want you to get in trouble selling any of those beautiful pins. I believe we met on the Getaway years ago!

It's a little different for this, the majority of pins were ordered before production so I'm delivering them. I have less than 10 of them available for sale so I expect them to go quick.

 

I probably did meet you on the Getaway, I have been on it twice.

Gin and tonic to start in the lounge after a very tasty curry.

 

 

I kept the pins with me on my carryon and both security points pulled the bag for a search. Gotta say, I was totally expecting it.

 

I have about 2 hours here before the flight so I expect to be lightly toasted before the flight. So, yes, there will be a party to be here for.

 

Doug and I will probably cover the gamut of what's on the ship and will probably show up in each others reviews. Well, at least in the non-blackmail pictures. [emoji6]

I’ll be looking forward to your review I’m booked on the Encore solo but booked an inside as it was cheaper than the studio. Would love to here your experience in getting from Gatwick yo Southampton as I think that will be my travel route as well. Have a great time!!!!!

Well it’s just about that time. I’ll be heading soon for my first flight to LAX on good old Southwest, hanging in the One World Lounge for a few hours, and then leaving in the evening for Gatwick on board Norwegian Air. I’ll be hopping on the train to Southampton and staying at The Grapes in a single room for two nights before boarding the brand-new BLISS!

 

 

 

 

 

 

I booked a Studio very shortly after the sailing first became available and joined up on the Roll Call. We’ve had a really good core group on the Roll Call and associated page on FB with The Dougout and Sue keeping things moving with countdown videos and a separate web page so people could register for our on-board events hosted by people on the cruise who stepped up to help. And what a list of events! A pre-cruise dinner, a CC Meet & Greet(of course), slot pull, Pub Crawl, chocolate tasting, mystery gift exchange, cabin crawl, games & dinners, and even a CC sponsored scavenger hunt. We’ll have no time to be bored on this sailing.

 

 

I helped out with designing and getting lapel pins made for the sailing:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I’m quite proud of how they turned out. I also used the flag background to create T-shirts for the group and set them up for people to buy on a separate site to have the shirts shipped directly to them.

 

 

I’ll be trying out the unlimited package on the ship for wifi since I really didn’t want to have to mess around with upgrading the social package if it turned out not to allow posting from Tapatalk. If you’ve read one of my reviews before then you know there will be food and booze pictures galore.

 

 

 

Speaking of pictures, I do ask that you not use the quote function for the pictures. Reposting them just clogs up the thread and makes it harder for me and others to see what you may have said and see new posts. If you want to comment or ask a question on something that is in a picture, then please delete the other pictures if you use the quote function for that picture. If you just want to make a general comment, PLEASE do not quote the whole picture post!

 

 

 

TLDR: Please do not quote pictures!

 

 

 

I have my Samsung 7 and a knock-off faux-pro for pictures& video so nothing fancy. I’m not sure how good the internet will be but if it’s good enough I’ll post video to YouTube during the cruise, otherwise I’ll have to wait until I get home. I’ll also be posting to Instagram as @goddessocoffee with pictures and short videos.

 

 

I’ll be happy to answer questions as I find the answers and post pics of the dailies but I’m not going to go out of my way to track down something I’m not interested in or scour the casino for your favorite slot machine. I’m out to do two things:discover the new ship and enjoy my vacation. And drink much booze; okay three things.

 

 

Yes, I will be doing the go-carts but I probably won’t be doing the Laser Tag.

 

Yes, I will be going to the spa (I have the pass) so will post pics of that and the spa menu.

 

Yes, I will be posting pics of the drink and food menus as I visit the bars and restaurants.

 

 

 

Now to finish that last-minute packing, give my kitties love, then wait on my Lyft.

Holy cripes! I just now got to my hotel. Apparently there was an accident and/or signalling issues that threw the train schedules all out of any semblance of order. Then my phone didn't like the wifi at Gatwick and I couldn't connect on the train.

 

I finally got good wifi here and 10 texts from my pet sitter pop up, all good she just likes to send pictures.

 

I took a shower and now require food and booze.

It was indeed an adventure!

 

I went across the street to The White Star Tavern and got an Old London ale and the ubiquitous fish and chips. It was deliciously filling.

 

 

Then I went back across the streets to The Grapes for an Elderflower G&T since I'm staying there and they have WiFi.

 

 

 

Here's my single room which I will be sleeping in soon because I am tired.
