Its been a while. Question regarding non refundable deposit

Funny enough, we just changed our refundable to non-refundable on our Symphony cruise as the difference was substantial. When i asked the agent if the remaining deposit had to be used within a year (in the case where we had to cancel), he responded "I don't think so". We were going to switch anyways due to the savings, but just shows you to not trust what they say.

Do not trust the NC people. Their level of knowledge ranges from good to nonexistent.

I asked one here on the Grandeur if the new Panoramic Oceanview cabins had refrigerators.

She said, "oh, all of the cabins on the Grandeur have a refrigerator."

I stared at her for a moment and said, "No, all of the interiors and all of the ocean views do NOT have refrigerators. That's why I'm asking about the new cabins. "

She was amazed. [emoji15][emoji12][emoji54]

Does anyone know for sure if you cancel a NRD cruise whether or not you can apply the remaining $300 to an already booked future cruise or is it for a newly booked future cruise only?

You can apply it to ANY cruise that has a balance equal to or more than your FCC.

In the UK, we loose deposits if we cancel, due to different T &C.

However, new conditions were introduced for booking made AFTER 05.04.18 ( 5th April ‘18)

I have attached the details of bookings of 5 days or more.
