The last day onboard the Sapphire. We visited a cider farm, the Château Gaillard home of Richard the Lionheart (Fortress) and the little town of Les Andelys.faa57fae53ebfd26a984cd313d059eb3.jpga15a4fd6c9336d4296c809473cdcf51d.jpg1e371894f02640c336796245b5c1bb47.jpg6aa3ca9b3a87d3ac1d927daf76e731cb.jpg

Ah, I take a few days off and so much to catch up with!

We were in Frankfurt this weekend and it was quite hot there as well - high 80s and sunny. So I know what you were experiencing just a few hours away from me. Great holiday weather! It was even hotter yesterday.

Sorry to reach the last part of your trip. But you are right about Tauck, I think. There was a Tauck group at our hotel this weekend, and it was a really nice hotel. It sure looks like they take great care of you.

Enjoy your last day/days.

Yesterday was interesting! We lost more than half of our group at the train station in Parks! 19 of us got in the correct train to London but the traffic was bad and busses were late to the station. It worked out and we all made it eventually. I was not concerned. I figured I could call an Uber and head to the hotel if needed.

We met the Tauck Guides in London and saw some sights.053e75ed43d9f259381ea9219aff0331.jpg4f56dc29dba242e0246f28b30c34cd1e.jpg2942cff9b272bf18ff7dd221b178f8f7.jpg4eaf42059eaed8315f590be5dd553e5f.jpgf3c4904bdc7b8ef7f6941600088da364.jpg

The train was nice! Tauck has us in first class so we were given lunch which was good. The Station is crowded but the train was great. FAST too!

Farewell dinner was very nice. Winston Churchill’s granddaughter shared stories of him which was very interesting. It’s hard to say goodbye but I’m ready to get home. What a great trip!!
