Port Everglades Question

Will be boarding HAL's Maasdam on September 10, 2018, would I be able to leave the ship after boarding to make a Total Wine run?

We plan to bring a case of wine on when checking in and would like to run back to TW for another case after dropping off the first case. We do know about corkage fees being charged on anything over one bottle per passenger.

Thank you.

Total Wine is a short ten minute taxi ride from Port Everglades. There should be no problem timewise making the short round trip. I would have the taxi wait in front of the store while you pick up the second case of wine. You could also pre order the wine online and it will be waiting for you when you arrive.

Never cruised HAL (yet!) - will they allow you to bring on that much wine? Most cruise lines limit you to 2 bottles per stateroom.

HAL has no limit, but you have to pay corkage for any over the 2 that are allotted for free.

To the OP...take your allotted 2 with you when you board. Then you can leave and return with the extras.
