hair dryers on the Royal

Pretty much the same. DW always mentions that problem but not worth hauling her big dryer.

No. they are larger and stronger. Instead of being on the wall at the desk, they are in a drawer.

Not as bad as the others but not great if you have thick and/or long hair.

I have arthritis in my hands and fine the dryers on the Royal and Regal difficult to use because you must hold the on button pressed while using the dryer. I bring a small travel hair dryer when on these ships.

I’m missing a thumb and two fingers on my dominant hand, and am able to hold the hair dryer without a problem.

Once on the Royal, I left the hair dryer on too long, and I smelled something burning. Well, the hair dryer singed my hair, and smoke was coming out of the hair dryer. :eek:

I'm holding one now, with a strip of tape attached, to dry my jacket. It's working fine. We are on the Royal, leaving Le Havre to return to Southampton shortly. Even though it takes up a bit of space in the drawer, it's convenient and works well to dry my hair, sneakers and jacket.

I bring my full-sized powerful hair dryer....the provided ones are awful.

It looks like the dryer cannot be removed and stored elsewhere. It seems like a waste of drawer space when not in use.

You can not move it. No concentrater on the end, so difficult to dry/style thick or long hair.
