We are going to have 2 days in Ft. Lauderdale pre cruise and won't be able to get our Mani's and Pedi's before we leave home. Can anyone recommend a nail salon within walking distance of the Embassy Suites Hotel on 17th St? Thanks.

Hi, go to google maps and put in the hotel, then click "whats near by" and put in whatever you are looking for. I see there is a nail salon 2 minutes away. Hope this helps. I use this feature all the time for restaurants and stores nearby my hotel pre cruise. Have a great time!

This is a few blocks away, opposite the Renaissance hotel in the Quay shopping center but I've used them 2x and have been very pleased...

They will take walk ins too....the prices are good and I've been happy...plus there are several places along the way to grab some lunch.....

Had a gel mani (which I'd never done..it lasted 2 weeks easily, but I didn't care for the removal process for the gels.....which I did at a nail place at home-that's just me though...I generally never get manis... My pedis that I've had there have lasted 2 weeks or more as well and they're just basic pedicures (well, I got a fancier one, they have a "menu" of choices....)

So I was pleased with the service and such, I am just personally not a fan of gel manicures....)

I go to the Nail Port, which has already been mentioned. Very affordable and they do a good job. Located behind Embassy Suites near the Publix.

  • 6 months later...

Thanks again for the recommendations.  We walked to Ultimate Nail and Spa and got there right after they opened.  I had the best gel manicure I've ever had, it is almost 3 weeks now and my polish still looks like new. It is not peeling off by my cuticles, which is always a problem.
