It said she was only on board for 2 months starting Jan 16.  Looks like someone new for the TA

This last week Symphony was Brian Leavitt. I never really cared who my cruise director was, I guess I only had good ones. We didn’t think Brian was good at all.

I understand the next CD on Anthem OTS will be Katy McCullagh.

Information came from a back office staff member on Voyager OTS a couple of days ago who indicated she was transferring to Anthem to work for Katy in the near future.

I guess that she is joining in May after drydock for the UK season.

Generally a CD contract is for 4 months, unless they are just covering someone else's vacation and then it would be for 2 months.   That is the norm, but odd things do happen at times in the Royal universe.

We just had Katy McCullagh on Adventure for the 2/23 to 2/29/20 sailing.  She is bubbly and does a good job hosting the Love and Marriage show as well as MC'ing the nightclub events.  She had a great 70's party on the Promenade, but that is probably very 'scripted' by the HO Entertainment Department.  We have seen plenty of them to realize they are 'almost all alike' -- the staff personalities make the event different. 

 

I did not see her at all around the ship.  My hubby caught up with her and chatted about her morning show, which is nice.

He will be transferring to Jewel from Serenade so I'm guessing only 2 months for him.

Dan was still on Brilliance as of 2/27. Not sure if he continued. AM Moe left on 2/20 mid-cruise from Cozumel.

The last list currently shows Chris Brown as being on the Serenade. Therefore in view of this info does anyone have an update please as to who replaces him on Serenade?

Just got off Grandeur Saturday 3/7.  David Bradshawe was cruise director.  Did not have opportunity to ask how long he was on.  At Farewell Show he did "top 10 question list" which we have not seen in years.  This schtick was way outdated...question # "What do you do with ice sculptures when they melt?"  Question #1  "what time is the midnight buffet?" 

New cruisers were confused, where are ice sculptures and how did I miss the midnight buffet?  Experienced cruisers were just sad remembering the beauty of the sculptures & all that is no longer a part of the cruise experience.
