cruisergrandma Posted July 8, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2018 We are doing a Western Mediterranean on Oasis of the Seas in May, 2019. Since weight is so important when packing for a flight I was wondering - how formal are the formal nights? Are nice slacks and a blouse good enough for women and dockers with a polo for men? Will we be refused entry to the dining room?
Langley Cruisers Posted July 8, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 8, 2018 Yes that's fine, and no you won't be refused.

cb at sea Posted July 8, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 8, 2018 Formality has gone by the wayside. Anything clean, without holes or rips, and not showing your "private parts" is fine.

Haven't been on a Med cruise in a while, and never on a Baltic. Pretty sure we're packing formal for our cruise out of Copenhagen next month Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

In my experience, they do tend to dress more every night. In general we saw most people following the suggested dress code.
