Carry on soda

Or you could just drop it outside of your room like every other suitcase in the hallway

That would require one to go through closed doors that say “Do not enter yet” and wander the halls with little to no other luggage actually delivered at the time period involved.

Some people will continue to ignore the rules and wonder why policies become increasingly more restrictive in effort to make an impression on the DB’s. Go figure.

We had 10 people cruising so had a bunch of 12 packs of soda, and a suitcase full of random snacks, chocolates, chips, hard candy, etc. the soda was brought in on a small, foldable dolly and no one said a word about it, we were split up into groups of 3 or 4 as we made our way thru security. We had to take it off the dolly and restack it but no issues. We had platinum and the rest of the group had FTTF, so we were able to go directly to the cabins.

Can I carry on in one small suitcase 36 sodas for 3 people? Or do they need to be in each persons carry on bag? Thank you

And if you're serious soda drinkers and need to purchase more, you can bring on an additional 12 pack per person at any port.

The rules are

12 pack per person and must be carried on by the individual

"A small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, energy drinks, juice, and milk) packaged in cans or cartons may be brought on board on embarkation day and must be in the guest's carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12 ounces each or less per person."

it doesn't say it must be carried on by the individual - it just has to be in the guest's carry-on luggage. Nothing wrong with 3 guests having the same 1 piece of carry on luggage.

On our last cruise out of Tampa Port we were told we had to carry on the sodas. They said that when put in luggage there was a risk of them busting with the way they throw the bags around. We had them strapped to the outside of our luggage and they made us take them off and carry them on.

Agree that you don't want them in 'checked' luggage, but you can put them in a 'carry-on with no problem.
