capriccio Posted July 23, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 23, 2018 Check out www.lasolasboulevard.com for restaurants, shops, galleries, etc. along Las Olas Blvd. The Sun Trolley (www.suntrolley.com) can be hailed on Las Olas Blvd to go to the beach (see the Las Olas/Beach link http://www.suntrolley.com/routes-schedules-fares/beach-las-olas/). There is also a water taxi (http://www.watertaxi.com) stop and a free water trolley (http://www.suntrolley.com/routes-schedules-fares/riverwalk-water-trolley/) stop nearby. Corby114 Posted July 24, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 24, 2018 Louie Bossi’s is a great Italian Restaurant really close to the Riverside Hotel. Great food, great drinks, and a great place to people watch. Place is always busy and very noisy, especially during Happy Hour. The food is always outstanding. Big City Tavern, which is owned by the same company is across the street. The food is great there too. Not as busy and not as noisy. Rocco’s Tacos is another great spot, not to far from the hotel. Always busy there too.
Charles4515 Posted July 24, 2018 #6 Share Posted July 24, 2018 we are staying at the riverside in November any recommendations on places for dinner are there trolly cars that pass by the hotel thanks carol There are a ton of restaurants around the Riverside in either direction to walk to. Whenever I stay there I use Yelp to pick out restaurants.

tip Posted July 25, 2018 #8 Share Posted July 25, 2018 The Cheesecake Factory is right in the same complex as the hotel and we think that it is fun because we are fans of "The Big Bang Theory." The sun trolley goes right by the hotel on Las Olas Blvd. and is a great way to get to the beach or other Fort Lauderdale venues.
