39august Posted August 4, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2018 What do I need besides name and birth date to book others while on board, please? I am paying for it.
bigbenboys Posted August 4, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2018 I remember just needing the names. It might help if they have a Celebrity Captains Club number.

39august Posted August 4, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted August 4, 2018 No CC number. Just gold on RCI. I will get the reservation number after I book them, right?
WestLakeGirl Posted August 5, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 5, 2018 Name, address, age. That’s what you need and you can only book a cruise you will also be on
NantahalaCruiser Posted August 5, 2018 #6 Share Posted August 5, 2018 No CC number. Just gold on RCI. I will get the reservation number after I book them, right? Correct - the on-board booking will create a reservation number for the new cruise. To allow them to start accruing Captain's Club loyalty points with their first Celebrity cruise, you can either have them call the Captain's Club and get their CC numbers before the cruise or have them call afterwards and have the numbers added to the reservation later. Unfortunately, the RCI Gold has no Celebrity loyalty reciprocity level - they need to be at RCI Platinum or higher to get the reciprocity and associated CC benefits - such as the one category upgrade. You should also ask them if they want the reservation to be assigned to Celebrity or to a TA of their choice. Of course if you have it assigned to Celebrity, then they will still have 60 days to transfer it to a TA if they so desire.
WestLakeGirl Posted August 5, 2018 #7 Share Posted August 5, 2018 With the OP paying, any decision about a TA would be his/hers
jelayne Posted August 5, 2018 #8 Share Posted August 5, 2018 WestLakeGirl has the Key factor, in order to book for someone else you must also be booked on the same sailing. You can’t book someone else on a cruise you are not booked on.
