IS THIS TRUE?

For those who always wanted to have a better understanding of the game of Cricket, here's an overview of the game for all to understand:-

There are two sides. One side is out in the field and the other side is in.
Each man that’s in the side that’s in goes out and when he’s out he comes in and the next man goes in until he’s out.
When they are all out, the side that’s out comes in and the side that’s been in goes out and tries to get those coming in out.
Sometimes you get men still in and not out.
When both sides have been in and out including the not outs, that’s the end of the game.

I remember years ago doing a charade entry, on  the book 'Fanny by Gaslight'.  Even ruder in the UK than the USA.  Some people frowned, so I never did it again (I was young at the time).

Lola

Yup, I can imagine that!  I suppose I have to ask if they guessed it.

It is a good thing that Cricket does not have bases, or else we would also have to find out who is on first ...

Lola I’m shocked 🫣 I suppose it depends on the crowd how it went down though!
