Looking at doing a Cruise Tour of Alaska next year. Thinking about the DB3 package. It goes from Fairbanks to Denali for 2 days. My question is how much of the time is spent traveling from location to location.

Thank you for any help you can give.

Don't know the answer to your question. The only reason I clicked on it was because I wondered what a "Tolman 50" was. Now, I know...it's YOU!!

You'll get more responses to your question, if you repost with a thread title that's a lead in for your question...i.e. "tour XYZ, travel time?"

You could also try the Alaska forum (https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=55)

Fairbanks to Denali about 4 hours

Denali to Whittier about 8 hours

If you have the time, would suggest a longer tour, 5 to 7 days + 7 day cruise.

I suggest a tour where you spend two nights at each lodge. Otherwise you spend too much time traveling compared to the amount of time at that lodge and its activities.

If you only spend one night at a lodge you will likely arrive in early afternoon and depart the next morning.
