Sailing from southampton Oct 18

Hi all can anyone tell me if Celebrity Silhouette will be passing Portsmouth or the needles on the way to Guernsey. Would like to see her passing from Southsea.

I think you'll find that the majority of cruise ships now exit Soton east of the IOW. You can always check on AIS Marine Traffic

Agreed. All 'big' cruise ships have to go round the east end of the IoW to keep in a safe deepwater channel. Sailaway is probably 1700, so keep an eye toward Bembridge about 1800 and you should see her...if the weather co-operates!!

Southsea to Ryde is only 4 1/2 miles. Should see it if weather/light is good.

I'm somewhat confused as we sail on 21st and as far as I know there is no sailing on 18th October unless you mean 2019.

That caught my eye too, since we’re on that same cruise. :)

 

 

I think the OP might have meant August. There is a cruise on 19th August that leaves Southampton and calls at Guernsey.

Actually, the Silhouette leaves Southampton on Aug 18th, 2018 , with Guernsey our first stop.

Better view if you pop over to Lee on Solent and watch her coming down the Solent. You can see her from Hayling island too.
