Got a call before the email, we are booked in a grand suite for the first time and they offered a loft suite for $2900 extra. It was a no for me.

Got an email about an upgrade for $100, said they would call, sure enough they did call about 2 weeks later and I was upgraded from OV to a Spacious OV Balcony.....26 cruises and this is the first time this has ever happened for us....did book through RCCL!

That's what I would have said. I have lots of trouble with stairs -- now live in a one story house. And with a GS in the Sky Suite, unless it is a Royal Loft Suite, you get the same amenities and benefits. Edited August 22, 2018 by SherriZ366

I would take a free upgrade from a GS from the true upgrade fairy! ;) But I am with you...not worth almost 3K for that one. :confused::o
