melissy123 Posted September 5, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 5, 2018 We haven't sailed Celebrity for a while. Wondering if they still offered the computer classes for Apple devices? We are sailing the Infinity Panama Canal at end of September.

thinfool Posted September 5, 2018 #3 Share Posted September 5, 2018 Go to your closest Apple store....there they are free. At least they are here in South Florida.
Educators2 Posted September 6, 2018 #4 Share Posted September 6, 2018 The first class onboard is free. Others are $10.00.
Rare keesar Posted September 6, 2018 #5 Share Posted September 6, 2018 The classes were for iPad and iPhones. Nothing for MacBooks.
Golfinesq Posted September 6, 2018 #6 Share Posted September 6, 2018 If Bojan is still with Celebrity and he's offering a class on your cruise, it's well worth the money. He covered every app included with the iPhone/ipad plus a class on his suggestions for other apps to download. He went overtime to cover all the material. Cruising Bonnie Posted September 6, 2018 #8 Share Posted September 6, 2018 What types of items are available for sale in the Apple Store? We are sailing on the Eclipse in April. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
skt4cruise Posted September 7, 2018 #9 Share Posted September 7, 2018 Is there an Apple store on the re-done Constellation? TIA!
bigbeergut Posted September 7, 2018 #10 Share Posted September 7, 2018 Go to your closest Apple store....there they are free. At least they are here in South Florida. Agreed 100%. I’m not sure why anyone would want to spend any time of a cruise vacation on a computer class when you can get it at most malls. Is there something about the ocean and computer classes that I don’t understand?
Mike981 Posted September 7, 2018 #11 Share Posted September 7, 2018 Agreed 100%. I’m not sure why anyone would want to spend any time of a cruise vacation on a computer class when you can get it at most malls. Is there something about the ocean and computer classes that I don’t understand? Good question. For me, the closest Apple store is 1 1/2 hours away and I can only go on the weekends, weekends tend to be rather busy for me. And, extremely busy at the Apple store. melissy123 Posted September 8, 2018 Author #12 Share Posted September 8, 2018 We have something like 8 sea days on this upcoming Panama Canal Cruise. Never had that many sea days. Looking for something to fill the days....

sippican Posted September 8, 2018 #14 Share Posted September 8, 2018 Agreed 100%. I’m not sure why anyone would want to spend any time of a cruise vacation on a computer class when you can get it at most malls. Is there something about the ocean and computer classes that I don’t understand? Perhaps it appeals to the poeple that don't care to waste their time and/or money attending art auctions, bingo, movies, playing slot machines, etc.? dkjretired Posted September 8, 2018 #15 Share Posted September 8, 2018 Good question. For me, the closest Apple store is 1 1/2 hours away and I can only go on the weekends, weekends tend to be rather busy for me. And, extremely busy at the Apple store. Same here, nearest Apple store is 2 hours each way. We did a number of the Apple classes when we did Alaska, they were free then. Just another part of the activities on board, if we didn't go to these classes we might have been in the Casino or at the pool, not big deal and we learned a lot. cherylroslyn Posted September 8, 2018 #16 Share Posted September 8, 2018 Agreed 100%. I’m not sure why anyone would want to spend any time of a cruise vacation on a computer class when you can get it at most malls. Is there something about the ocean and computer classes that I don’t understand? I'm so busy at home that I have literally never learned to use 99 percent of what my phone has. I can place calls and read texts. I have $1000.00 dollar phone and it might as well be a flip phone like my Dad has..... I would love to take a class when I am not being interrupted by my work. It might even make me more efficient when I get home.
