KarJer Posted September 7, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 7, 2018 Do the Crown Princess dining room menus ever include escargot as an appetizer? If it’s not on the menu is it something you can order anyway? Love this on the RCI ships. Going on the Crown Princess in June 2019.

If you want it on additional nights ask the Head Waiter 24 hours in advance. I always do this. Love them!! :D Sometimes they do not have them available onboard. Mud_Shark Posted September 8, 2018 #4 Share Posted September 8, 2018 My wife gave them a go last time, but I just couldn't muster up the courage to give them a try. Don

Don Just think of them as a delivery system for a melted butter, garlic, shallots, and parsley sauce! Make sure you have some bread for dipping after eating the escargot. Eaglecw Posted September 8, 2018 #6 Share Posted September 8, 2018 I'm hooked, I get them on every cruise. Sometimes I get double order. My wife thinks I'm nuts, she won't touch them.
Rare geoherb Posted September 8, 2018 #7 Share Posted September 8, 2018 Several years ago there was a snail shortage and they disappeared from the menu on some cruises. But people in the know were still able to get them by asking a head waiter. If they're really important, you can ask to see the menus for the whole cruise to make sure they'll be on one.
