adam_s_allen Posted September 11, 2018 #2 Share Posted September 11, 2018 Tap water and a sort of "instant coffee" are available for free. Specialty coffees and bottled water need to be purchased whether you have the UBP or not.
Two Wheels Only Posted September 11, 2018 #3 Share Posted September 11, 2018 Before it gets asked... No, you cannot bring your own case or even a single bottle of water onto the ship.
Rare BirdTravels Posted September 11, 2018 #4 Share Posted September 11, 2018 Our trip includes the UBP. does this option include coffee and water? do I have to buy cases of water ??? confused. Does not include Ice Bars, room service, package sales, bottled water, ship specific promotions or beer buckets, designated super premium brands, bottled wine, mini bar purchases, fresh squeezed juices, Lavazza coffee beverages[specialty coffees], wine dispenser, energy drinks or vending machines. Rare PTC DAWG Posted September 12, 2018 #7 Share Posted September 12, 2018 Ask your room steward for a coffee pot if one is not in the room...they may be able to help..balcony and above have them automatically, I believe. Our steward brings us a pitcher of ice water if we ask nice...
Whattawack Posted September 12, 2018 #8 Share Posted September 12, 2018 I know that the specialty coffee at the cafe is not included, but then I read somewhere that alcohol containing coffee drinks at the bars (like an Irish coffee) are included. Is that true? Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Rare cml4958 Posted December 9, 2018 #15 Share Posted December 9, 2018 (edited) I believe most cabins with the exception of studios have a coffee machine in them. So you can make your morning coffee. And can't you order off the continental breakfast menu and get a pot of coffee with that? With respect to water, I bring a refillable bottle and then use the ice from my room. shintaro Posted December 10, 2018 #16 Share Posted December 10, 2018 mmm further to steveH2508 comment above. I thought I better check with NCL to be told that coffee is avaiable on our package throughout the ship. So will wait and see in 13 days time
GetMeOutOfMN Posted December 10, 2018 #17 Share Posted December 10, 2018 We also got the UBP in the promotion and I'm going to say I'm a bit disappointed in the beverage offerings. We have cruised with Royal before and really liked the freestyle machines. A friend is going on Carnival and their drink package is half the cost and includes energy drinks, specialty coffees, milkshakes and bottled waters. The NCL plan does not include "select Lavazza coffees" - is that all the specialty coffee drinks? Hubby and I like an occasional cappuccino. And I've heard mixed responses on whether lemonade is available? We sail Epic in March. You folks just off Epic... do they have lemonade available for free? Thank you for any clarification! That is a notoriously unreliable source of information. It certainly doesn't include coffee from the coffee bar in the Atrium. I state that from experience. There is still some confusion regarding exactly what is meant by coffee with meals, i.e. whether it includes places like o'Sheehans or the buffet. You can certainly get ordinary coffee from most bars for free (anyone can), but if you order things like an espresso or cappuccino other than with meals then you will most likely have to pay for it. The T&Cs state that it is only at meal times, and I've not experienced or read anything to say that it is actually dealt with any differently. Rare ziggyuk Posted December 10, 2018 #20 Share Posted December 10, 2018 The UK all inclusive states it's coffee with meals, I ordered specialist coffee in the MDR and O'Sheehan's bar, I did not use the buffet so can't comment on that but as it's included with meals you should be able to ask someone in the buffet. The coffee shop is 100% a no, I repeatedly heard them warning people it was chargeable (after all no meals available there). As long as you are ordering a meal (even a snack in O'Sheehan's eg buffalo wings) you can order a free coffee.
lovetotraveltx Posted December 10, 2018 #21 Share Posted December 10, 2018 If you are from the USA all cappucino's and and espresso's have a charge, even with meals, correct?
