This is my first upsell offer and first balcony.

We are currently booked on Glory in a front, port side balcony, on the Lido. The offer is to switch to a middle, starboard balcony on the Spa deck for $24. Is this a good move? Are the Spa cabins larger or have other perks associated with them?

I pretty much got the same offer for the same cruise and didn't think it was that great a deal being that the normal everyday price difference was like $42 per person and it puts me in the front of the ship as opposed to the aft where we are now.

I called and they offered me 2 other rooms but I stayed where I was at.

I would get it for sure you get the spa amenities. I have heard of cases where they said it wasnt purchased so you dont get the use of the spa, though i do see they asked for $24.

I would just ask and make double sure. Just heard of too many that didnt get the spa perks after they upgrraded. But those could have been the price dropped so they upgraded as opposed to a upsell.

just ask and be sure.

Spa cabins include the use of the pay areas of the spa like saunas ect for 24 dollars take it if you use these areas of the spa.

not on upgrades, you would have to pay for use of the spa. The day Carnival sells $139 Spa passes for $24, will be never

Must be upsell day, I got an offer too. Lol For our 4/6 Breeze cruise, they offered us to move to a balcony from our deck 6 inside for $422. We declined, because for one we only pay up for a balcony if it's a cove, and two, this is the first leg of a B2B and we're booked in the same cabin both legs. Also, we won't pay more than a couple hundred for an upgrade. Not all upgrades are worth it!

You are right, i think spa deck is the deck above Lido with the balconys without coverings, so you are always sitting in the sun?

the doors shut differentlytoo as I remember.

There is another deck between the Lido and the Spa Deck. Lido is Deck 9, Panorama is Deck 10 and the Spa is Deck 11.

I got an email upsell yesterday as well, to change an 8C balcony on Empress to a spa deck balcony right at the entrance to Lido deck. This was on a Feb. sailing of the Conquest, which doesn't have the Cloud 9, so the only spa amenities would be the Elemis products and better robe in the cabin. $34 was enticingly cheap, but we figured we weren't getting much except a noisier location and a sunnier balcony, so we declined.

I had already accepted an $80 upsell from an inside to a balcony on the Magic Nov cruise. Both sailings were casino rates.

We got an e-mail the other day for our 2/3 sailing on the Dream. We were originally in a 4B mid-ship on Riviera (deck 1) and were offered to move up to mid/aft inside on deck 9 (one deck below Lido) for $24 per person. I checked the deck plan and we would be under the aft pool area not the main pool and I DO like the idea of only being 1 deck away from pizza, coffee, ice cream etc., so we took it :)

Got an email yesterday for my 4/20 cruise on the Freedom. Offer to move from a Port side balcony on deck 8, to a Starboard balcony on Deck 10. Cost = $24. I was tempted, but then I looked up where the cabin on Deck 10 is. It appears to be right across the hallway from an Elevator. Also, the Sun King Steak House is on Deck 10 as well. Lots of traffic. I am sticking with the port side on Deck 8. I prefer the Port side anyway.

I would take it in a minute. I love the spa amenities. On Splendor, I LOVED the T-pool, so not sure if Glory has one. We got access to all the spa areas and included two free classes. It was fun. Yoga about killed me but I felt good about myself in trying it. :)

Except the Glory doesn’t have the Cloud 9 Spa so it’s not worth it.
