Small Cartons of Protein Shakes

Does anyone know if Carnival will allow small cartons of protein shake instead of a carton of cokes? TIA

Pre made Bottles/cans, maybe, but only as a reasonable amount, which usually means around 12.

I think they might be referring to the ones that are like "juice box" style?

If it has a "twist-off" top, you may have a problem. It probably depends on the person making the inspection, and whether they care to look at the seals, or just say "No", based on the type of lid...

Bringing Liquor and Beverages Onboard - Embarkation

Guests are prohibited from bringing water, sodas and other non-alcoholic beverages on board that are packaged in glass or plastic bottles.

A small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, energy drinks, juice, and milk) packaged in cans or cartons may be brought on board on embarkation day and must be in the guest's carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12 ounces each or less per person.

Can anyone else comment on their experience with the juice-box style protein drinks? I drink one of these every day and plan to bring some onboard - and I sure don't want them to be tossed at security - they're not cheap!

define small? 12 ounces per carton or less, probably... more than 12 ounces per carton... probably not YMMV

Most protein shake cartons are 11 oz. They qualify under Carnival's current rules,and 12 is the limit. I have taken 12 in the past (as a gastric sleeve patient) and there were no questions.

Yes, my hubby takes premier protein shakes with no problem, since they are in a carton.
