If going from your hotel to the Airport, you will find that taxis or Uber’s are very easy to find or book. Unless you have a TSA pre-check I would plan to get to the airport around 5:45 to be sure you don’t get stuck in the early morning flight passenger traffic.

Gracious yes!!! If you look at the Uber app when you wake up, the map shows the tons of Uber cars, just parked outside the area of all the hotels.. Not kidding. Learned the hard way the first time we used Uber. Ordered one from our hotel room....by the time we gathered our bags, got on the elevator and went outside, the car was there waiting. We were charged for him waiting. Lol. It was only a couple of bucks....but NOW, we do not order the car until we are outside and it always arrives in less than a minute

Hi,

Has anyone taken a 7AM domestic flight from FLL? Can I be at the airport at 6AM? Will there be plenty of uber or taxi from hotel? Hotel is about 4 miles from port everglade.

Thanks,

April

If you aren't checking luggage and you have TSA pre-check 6 am should be fine. If you are checking luggage and do not have pre-check, I'd be there no later than 5:45 am and, given my own predilections, I'd probably be there by 5:30.

We got to the airport at 7.30 for a 9.45 pm flight on a Tuesday back on the 25th and that place as crowded as I have ever seen an airport. Took an hour and a half to get thru check in and security. I could not imagine how crowded it would be with 5 - 6 ships in port on the same day.
