Diamond Happy Hour - Is sharing OK?

We are on the Allure right now and our letter says there are three drink coupons loaded on your card so YOU can have a drink with your family or friends in almost every bar on the ship. Notice it states you not any family or friend. If you want to be a hero to them, dig out your seapass card and pay for it. We occassionly cruise with friends who have higher loyalty levels on different cruise lines and the thought of playing the sytem to benefit the lower loyalty people has never came up. We are not connected at the hip, whover has somthing tied to a loyalty award goes and participates and we meet up later.

These drinks are their way of saying thank you for cruising so much with them. We very seldom use the coupons but we never considered letting someone else benefit for something they don’t deserve, friends, relatives, or anybody.

Since some people think sharing is ok, how about selling them, say three for $20?Doesn’t cost the cruise line anymore so it’s a wash.

I won't pay more than $12 for all 3.  Deal?   You'll need to hang out with me from 4:30 to 8pm though...

Post 146. Customer service  says it's fine to give your free drink to anyone you want
