German night at Reflection buffet

We have had English night, Spanish night, but tonight is my favorite

At the Summit we had an Oktoberfest lunch, with unlimited German beer.  I loved the cod fish

So pleased to see the buffet restaurants seeming to become far more adventurous.

 

We have never had an issue with the general fare provided but then we had two cruises on Eclipse where they had ‘specials’ and were really impressed. In Portugal they picked up fresh sardines and in Norway they served a different fish dish (sorry can’t remember). 

 

I do hope this is a taste of things to come!

I would have been more impressed to see German sausage, not just hot dogs.  And how about some sauerbraten?  Hard to see what all was offered.

There was much more than “Just hot dogs”. There were four kinds of wursts, But I’m having trouble getting all the photos uploaded.

Trying again.  There was schnitzel, spaetzel, cabbage and more but I can’t get the rest to upload

Pork Knuckle is my favorite. Glad to see it on the menu. Hope they do this for our upcoming cruise in December.

Is this specialty German food offered on all Celebrity ships ?

The Octoberfest lunch was a special event.

 

The various ethnic dinners in Oceanview have been seen by me on Eclipse and Reflection and reportedby others on some of the other ships.
