wolfie11 Posted November 6, 2018 #2 Share Posted November 6, 2018 You can walk yourself off with your luggage as early as you want, but people usually start getting off around 6:30 -7:00.
Bill B Posted November 6, 2018 #3 Share Posted November 6, 2018 I seem to remember the ship getting in around 0030. You can probable disembark as early as 0100.

rocklinmom Posted November 6, 2018 #5 Share Posted November 6, 2018 Yes we just docked there this summer and people couldn't get off the ship until at least 6am or so. No rush since it's the middle of the night when it docks.
Rare cruisequeen4ever Posted November 10, 2018 #6 Share Posted November 10, 2018 It’s a very efficient and simply disembarkation. It usually begins around 6/6:30 like others have said. Watch the sail in the night before; it’s beautiful. You’ll dock just after midnight.
Bubbs33 Posted November 10, 2018 #7 Share Posted November 10, 2018 Was going to start a similar thread so please excuse me for adding my questions here. We also disembark st Whittier next summer and currently have a car rental reservation with Avis in Whittier for 8am. I understand the Avis offices opens at 8am. I also understand the tunnel opens for northbound traffic on the hour for 15min. So is it reasonable that we would be able to disembark before 8am, walk to Avis (8 Harbour St) and once loaded be in line for the tunnel for 9am to 9:15 access? Thank you in advance for insights and prior experience.

Sometimes one way with Whittier can be very $$$$.

Thanks Carol, Actually we have elected to rent the car to do a one day DIY tour enroute to the airport. We are 4 adults and the rental iappears to be a good rate vs 4 full day tours that are at someone else's schedule.
