Beach close to port ?

My goal is to spend the morning  of our arrival at the port on a beach close to the port.

Not sure , I’ll be with Royal Carribean (Allure of the seas).

OK you will be at International Pier, south of town. No beaches close by as it is ironshore. You will need to taxi to a southern beach club or there are bars within walking distance. 

 

You need to tell us more about your expectations for the day to advise further.

Money Bar is fairly close (about a $11-12 cab ride - fare covers up to 4 passengers sharing the taxi), and offers good snorkeling from the shore, good facilities, lockers, lots of shade and chairs but no real beach - you enter the water via steps.

 

Paradise Beach, Mr. Sanchos, Playa Mia, Nachi Cocom and others are a bit farther - about a $17 cab ride each way.  They all offer different amenities and options.  Tell us more about your group and desires - all inclusive?  Water toys?

There are no beaches close. You can take your pick of numerous other beaches. The transportation cost to each is between $12 and $15 each way by cab.
