Noon arrival time

Has anyone with a Noon arrival time in Tampa for the Paradise been able to get in the terminal earlier?  We are Diamond but our friends, not in the same cabin, are Gold.  We would like to get there  before 11.  We are sailing tomorrow.

Thanks

your friends will not be using the same check in area as you.     if you want to stay together-- you go in with them through the regular check in.     Your friends may be told to go to another line for later arrival if you get there at 11 for a noon check in time.   I use the term MAY because some people say they got to check in earlier   and others say they had to go to the other line

It depends on how many are in line to check in during a certain time frame, and how quickly people get checked in. If the line for those with a check-in time for 11:30 - 12:00 (for example) are finished by approximately 11:45, then the terminal agents may start checking in those with a 12:00 check-in time.

You did not say what check in time your friends have. If they arrive with you they could be waiting awhile to board. The only way you all can board together is check in with your friends. I have heard of people boarding early, but that’s very few.

I think it just depends on port.  We had an arrival time of 1:00 at Long Beach last April.  We arrived at 11:00 with intention of dropping luggage and going to visit the Queen Mary but we were asked if we were ready to board, so we did.  It wasn't busy and we sure weren't expecting early boarding but it happened and we were grateful.

This was true for our experience recently.  We had an 11:30 check in time but arrived about 20 minutes early, prepared to wait. But they told us to go ahead and get in line, as all from the previous time has checked in already.
