The houses are in the tables, a little difficult to get at, but I will do my best. Yes, an all Dutch staff, they are very good. And we have seen Glen around, but Denise as Manager of the Pinnacle when we have been there. Glenn and Martyn supervising! That, the PG supervisor, must be something unique to the Pinnacle-class then. On the other ships, there is only one PG manager who manages and supervises his/her staff in his/her restaurant. Unless of course Nieuw S, being brand new, has an extra PG manager until everyone in there has hit the deck running
Rare kazu Posted December 10, 2018 #602 Share Posted December 10, 2018 From Scluvsrain (Sherita): She went to Sel de Mer tonight and reports it was phenomenal. Dover Sole was out of this world delicious and the crepes suzettes fantastic. (Sounds like she enjoyed the dinner 😉 ) Oops I forgot to say food porn alert 😉
jonyboy Posted December 10, 2018 #603 Share Posted December 10, 2018 Just booked the March 3 cruise on this wonderful ship, have heard so many nice comments about it I can't wait. We were on the Westerdam in July and have heard this is even better. Any tips for our upcoming cruise?
Diamondbb Posted December 10, 2018 #604 Share Posted December 10, 2018 If anyone who volunteered for the cabin crawl has a Neptune Suite I would appreciate a photo of the balcony to see what type of furniture is on the balcony. Thanks everyone for all the fabulous information! Hope you have a smooth sailing! We are going in April for my husband's birthday!
Arrowinc Posted December 10, 2018 #605 Share Posted December 10, 2018 These posts are highly enjoyable, especially for those of us enduring the frozen north. By the way -- one of the pianists on your cruise -- Chase Lewis -- is an old friend of ours. He is supremely talented, and you assuredly won't miss him. Should you have a chance, tell him that the Woodfords say, "hi." Thanks again.

Kazu -- thank you for taking the time and getting all the pictures and video on here. I am happy to help Yonnie 😄 I've had the pleasure to cruise with Ann & Pat several times and Sherita as well. It's not their fault that the internet isn't working. They are such wonderful people to cruise with that it is truly my pleasure to help if I can. I've been down that road myself when I am trying to do a live thread and can't upload 😞

I had it in the Rotterdam pop up and my sister said it was better than lobster. I'm looking forward to that treat again next summer.
Cruise _Addict Posted December 11, 2018 #613 Share Posted December 11, 2018 I’m wondering how much the internet packages cost and if it’s for unlimited internet. i usually try to just use wifi in port but I have an aging mother I’d like to be able to connect daily. Muushka Posted December 11, 2018 #615 Share Posted December 11, 2018 We are new to HA and are going on this brandy new ship for 2 weeks over Christmas. Does anyone know if the Vista Suites have footstools on the balcony? We will bring one if no. DVD players? Thanks! PS We are enjoying reading this thread and the adventures of Snort. Whoa; people eat that stuff?? Yes they do and it is delicious, particularly when pan fried. When in Holland, go to any Dutch fish restaurant and I bet you they are as good or better than on the N S. Also try the slibtongetjes (small sole, panfried) and be careful you'll eat your fingers.

Thanks for that info! I was born, raised and grew up in Holland and, to be honest with you, I have never heard of that. I was never big into "zoute haring" (salted herring) either. Of course it would help if I would look up the Dutch name....."Kuit", got it 🤓 Edited December 11, 2018 by Copper10-8

Footstools on the balconies. Regular verandas have two semi-adjustable lounge chairs and two footstools. One small round table. No DVD players. Instead there is a very large flatscreen tv mounted to the wall opposite the bed. It is an interactive system which has a lot of movies and tv shows as well as need and sports stations. Kind of like what they have on airplanes now.
