Is there anyway to find out what bands and/or live music entertainers will be onboard a particular cruise?  I've tried calling main number for princess and they say there is no way to know this information   Any suggestions?

No they change so much its best to monitor the boards here and see if anyone that recently sailed has info/Patters etc to share.

Guest entertainers change all the time, sometimes mid cruise. Contract bands also change frequently. The only people that really know are the Entertainment Director, C.D. and some head office staff that coordinate this. The information is not generally publicly available. They only way to kind of find out is to get Princess Patters from a voyage just before your cruise. If you are on the Emerald Hawaii voyages this winter I do know that Elua will be on board as the Hawaiian entertainment.

Is there some entertainer you are specifically trying to find? Sometimes they have web sites or facebook pages.

Entertainment changes by the day or week.  We were on the CB in November.  On the cruise we had two comedians one who arrived, did their gig and then left the ship for the next comedian.  The guitar player who was quite good left the ship after several months to go home when we left the ship.  The band which we have seen before was leaving after the next and current cruise.  The singers and dancers also left the ship when we did and had been on the ship for 10 months.  The entertainment changes by cruises.

Some "acts" are on the ship 2-3 nights and switch off to another ship/cruise line. Others like the 3/5 piece band in Explorers or the production performers usually have multi month contracts. Lecturers may be on the ship for a night. Because of this having the exact same entertainment cruise to cruise in unlikely. As stated, best bet is to see reviews or live from that ship weeks before your trip.
