Grenouille21 Posted December 30, 2018 #27 Share Posted December 30, 2018 We opted for a resort day, and it was tied for our favorite port day. We went to Hilton Rose Hall, rented a cabana at the lazy river pool, and were waited on hand and foot. We had access to water slides, including one that led to a swim up bar where we could pick up a drink and cruise back to the cabana. Our lunch was included and served in our cabana, at our request. We could order anything on the menu. Truly an amazing experience.
#1TravelMom Posted April 19, 2019 #28 Share Posted April 19, 2019 I wouldn't miss out on Dunn's or Secret Falls if you haven't seen them. Totally worth the drive. "Cool Dave" is great and will make sure you have a super fun day!

We booked through Resort For A Day both times to Hilton Rose Hall. It was tropical paradise! We had a wonderful day both times, and never felt unsafe at all, never harassed by any kind of vendors. We would go back again! 🌴

They provided transportation to and from the resort and promised to have us back in a timely manner. This is a vendor who knows that if they don't get you back to the ship on time, they will not see much business in the future. They have resort options in many cruise ports, so this isn't some shady independent vendor. Highly recommend Resort For A Day and Hilton Rose Hall!! We did an RCL sponsored excursion...a walking tour of Falmouth. Had a guide and it was actually very interesting and informative. Wasn't expensive and really let you see "a day in the life". Even got to go to the local school, with the kids at recess. We enjoyed it. We di this ship tour couple of years ago. We had gone to Dunn River Falls our first tiem there. But, we wanted to see some of Falmouth. The tour was very safe. It was led by 2 women. One was in the lead and the other brought up the rear. The one thing I remember was them asking us to watch out for cars. And they were not kidding. Cars did not watch out for pedestrians. There is a shopping area [several tents] just outside the gate. They shopping there was much better in price than in the port. It was literally across the street from the port entrance.
